For the meringues
4 egg whites
200 grams powdered sugar
1 pinch salt
For the toppings
400 grams chocolate hazelnut spread
200 grams Dark couverture chocolate

Preparation steps

1.

For the meringues: Beat egg whites and salt until stiff. Season with a pinch of salt. Beat in half the sugar as meringue gets glossy, then add remaining sugar. Pour mixture into a piping bag with a large tip and pipe mounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Preheat oven to 60-75°C (approximately 150°F). Bake meringues for about 2-3 hours. Remove and let cool on the sheet.

For the toppings: Melt nougat over a double boiler, let cool slightly and pour into a freezer bag. Cut a corner off of the bag and pipe nougat onto meringue shells with nougat.

Melt chocolate over a double boiler. 

4.

Dip half of each meringue into the chocolate, let dry on wax paper. Let dry completely, then serve.
