Preparation steps

Line muffin pan with muffin paper cups.

Chop chocolate coarsely and melt over hot, not boiling, water bath. Remove from heat and let cool until lukewarm.

For the batter: whisk butter and sugar until creamy. Beat eggs with a pinch of salt and gradually add to butter. Mix flour with cocoa, nuts and baking powder. Add to butter mixture, alternating with milk. Add half of melted chocolate and pour batter into prepared muffin cups. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 25 minutes (inserted toothpick should come out clean).

For the cream: beat butter with sugar until creamy, add cream cheese and chocolate. Add powdered sugar and mix well.
