Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Coarsely chop the chocolate. In a bowl, beat the butter with the sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the egg and vanilla sugar. In another bowl, stir the flour ith the cocoa powder and baking powder. Stir into the butter mixture. Fold in the chopped chocolate. 

Using a teapoon, scoop heaping portions of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet, making sure to space the cookies 5 cm (approximately 2 inch) apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
