The coconut shavings not only give the slices a delicious taste, but are also full of good ingredients, such as B vitamins. Above all, the content of biotin (vitamin B7) is high, which makes our nails firm, hair shiny and skin beautiful.

You can also coat the chocolate and coconut slices with a chocolate icing. For this, melt some 70 grams of dark chocolate with 1 to 2 teaspoons of coconut oil over a water bath, then spread it on the slices and let it set.

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Gradually add the eggs. Grate the chocolate and mix into the butter with the nuts. Stir in the grated coconut, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and cocoa. Spread the dough about 3 cm thick on a lined baking tray. Bake for about 25 minutes. Remove, let cool and dust with powdered sugar. Cut into pieces and serve.
