Chocolate Chip Round Loaf

Dissolve the yeast in the milk. Place the flour, sugar and a pinch of salt in a bowl and mix well. Add the yeast-milk mixture, egg and butter and knead into a smooth dough. If necessary add more flour or milk. The dough should not be sticky. Cover and leave in a warm place for around 1 hour.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven), 400°F, gas 6 and grease a baking tin.
Stir the chocolate chips into the dough and roll it out to fit the baking tin. Brush with some melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and bake for around 30 min. Remove form the oven, leave to cool and serve sliced.
