400 grams stale Brioche
40 grams softened butter
250 milliliters Whipped cream
2 eggs
1 generous pinch Ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
100 grams Chocolate chip

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Grease a baking dish with butter.

Slice the brioche and spread with butter. Cut the slices into quarters and layer into the prepared pan in an overlapping manner.

Whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, cinnamon and powdered sugar. The cream with the eggs, cinnamon and powdered sugar. Pour over the bread and sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Place the pan into a deep dish and fill about 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) of the way with hot water.  Bake for 35 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and serve warm.
