Chocolate Cake

- 500 grams butter
- 350 grams sugar
- 8 eggs
- 500 grams Pastry flour
- 150 grams cornstarch
- 5 tsps Baking powder
- 1 pkg Chocolate chip
- 200 grams Baking chocolate
- breadcrumbs (for the pan)
- Fat (for the pan)
Beat the butter until creamy. Stir in the sugar and gradually add the eggs. Mix the flour, cornstarch and baking powder. Fold into the batter, tablespoon by tablespoon. Mix in the chocolate chips.
Grease a baking sheet. Sprinkle with the breadcrumbs and place the dough in the middle. Bend aluminum foil around the edge to limit spreading. Bake for 1 hour at 200°C (approximately 400°F). Remove from the oven and let cool.
Melt the chocolate block. Spread thickly around the cake. Cut into pieces and serve.

This fluffy chocolate cake with chocolate chips is certainly not one of the healthiest recipes. But sometimes nibbling must be allowed and then we can benefit from the vitamin A from the eggs and butter. We need this for healthy vision, especially at dusk.
Even smarter
The fluffy cake with chocolate chips is accompanied by a delicious chai latte or a cup of coffee. If you would like it a bit more chocolaty, you can replace about 2-3 tablespoons of the flour with baking cocoa and add it to the dough.
