125 grams butter

Preparation steps


For the dough: Mix the flour with the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Make a well in the middle. Add the egg and yolk to this well. Cut the butter into small pieces and distribute around the flour. Knead everything to a smooth dough, form it into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate about 1 hour.


Preheat the oven to 160°C convection (approximately 320°F). Butter the pie pan and sprinkle with flour.


For the filling: Chop the chocolate coarsely, heat the cream in a saucepan and melt the chocolate in it. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and liqueur. Mix the egg with the egg white and fold into the cream.


Knead the dough on the floured surface again. Roll out two thirds of the dough to a circle slightly larger than the pan. Put this into the pan form an edge. Roll out the rest of the dough and cut into strips. Form a lattice with these strips. Spread the chocolate cream onto the dough in the pan, then put the lattice on top and brush with melted butter. Bake 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Cool, then serve dusted with powdered sugar.
