These chocolate bear paws are a fun dessert and also contain flavonoids, secondary plant substances which help balance blood pressure and have a positive effect on the heart.
Stored in a cool and dry place, these biscuits will keep for about 3-5 days.

- 7 ounces butter
- 2 ¾ ounces Dark chocolate
- 3 eggs
- 9 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 7 tablespoons Pastry flour
- 3 ½ ounces ground almonds

- 6 ounces dark Couverture
Preparation steps
Melt the butter. Finely chop the dark chocolate by hand or a blender.
Mix the eggs with the powdered sugar, honey, milk, vanilla sugar and cocoa in a bowl. Mix the baking powder with the flour and the almonds, and add to the egg mixture. Stir together the melted butter and the finely chopped dark chocolate, and add to the batter. Covered and let rest for at least two hours in refrigerator.
Grease the wells of a cookie baking tray with melted butter and sprinkle with flour. Fill the wells with batter up to ¾th and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, release from the mold, and leave to cool.
Melt the melting chocolate in a bowl over a hot water bath and dip the bottoms of the baked cookies into it. Let dry on a rack and serve.
