Ingredients

For the dough
250 grams softened butter
250 grams sugar
5 eggs
500 grams Pastry flour
3 tsps Baking powder
25 grams cocoa powder
½ tsp cinnamon
150 grams Dark chocolate (chopped)
125 milliliters milk
For the decoration
350 grams powdered sugar
2 egg whites
1 tsp lemon juice
white Carton
silver Sugar pearls

Preparation steps

For the dough: Beat butter until fluffy. Gradually stir in sugar and eggs. Then stir in flour, baking powder, cocoa, cinnamon, chocolate and milk.

Grease the pan with butter and dust with flour. Pour dough into pan and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (approximately 350°F) for 60 minutes. Remove, release onto a wire rack and let cool.

For the decoration: Combine powdered sugar, egg whites and lemon juice. Brush cake with mixture and decorate with sugar pearls. Let dry for 2-3 hours. Create an angel head and wings from a white carton and use to decorate cake. Slice and serve.
