- ½ cup butter
- 0.333 cup Dark chocolate (chopped)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 0.333 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate chip
Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (160 fan) | 350°F | gas 4 and grease and line an 18 x 28 cm | 7" x 11" brownie tin.

Melt the butter and chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Once melted, stir in the other ingredients, apart from the almonds and chocolate chips, until smooth and combined.

Tip in two thirds of the almonds and chocolate chips and stir to distribute then pour into the tin. Scatter the rest of the nuts and chips over the top and bake for 30 minutes until the centre feels springy to the touch.
4.
Leave to cool in the tin before dividing into 16 squares.
