- 2 kilograms jam sugar (1:1 ratio)
- 8 Jam jars (with twist-off lid)

Preparation

Squeeze the juice from the lemon. Rinse and trim the cherries. Remove the stones, and bring to a boil with the lemon juice and the jam sugar. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the jam begins to thicken.

Remove from the heat and, pour immediately into the hot sterilized jars. Seal tightly, then turn upside down to cool for 15 minutes. Turn right side up and cool completely.
