200 grams sugar
1 packet Vanilla sugar
4 eggs
300 grams Pastry flour
1 packet Baking powder
3 tablespoons Cocoa
100 grams Chocolate
100 grams ground almonds
180 milliliters milk

400 milliliters Whipped cream
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 packet Vanilla sugar

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

For the batter, beat the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until fluffy. Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa, grated chocolate and almonds. Alternately stir the flour and milk into the butter mixture. Grease a springform pan with butter and sprinkle with almonds. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove the cake from the oven, release the cake ring and let cool completely.

Halve the cake horizontally. Soak each floor with the cherry liqueur.

For the filling, whip the very cold cream until stiff. Beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Spread 1/3 of the cream on the bottom cake floor and gently place the second floor on top. Pour the remaining cream in a piping bag and decorate the top of the cake. Garnish the cake with cherry liqueur and grated chocolate. Chill and serve.
