Butter casserole or four small ramekins with melted butter.
Whisk eggs with powdered sugar until very frothy. Sift flour over egg mixture and add milk. Mix to a smooth batter. Pour batter into a baking dish or ramekins and sprinkle with cherries.
Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
