Cherry and Almond Florentines
Cut the cherries into small cubes. Transfer to a saucepan along with the almond slivers, sliced almonds, sugar, vanilla sugar, honey, butter and cream and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in the flour and simmer for 1 minute. Remove the pan from the heat.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon the florentine mixture into small mounds on the prepared baking sheet, leaving room for spreading, and bake in a preheated oven (200°C) (approximately 400°F) for 8 minutes.
