Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 390°F).

Thaw puff pastry and on a lightly floured work surface roll out 2-3 mm (approximately 1/8 inch) thin. Whisk egg yolks with 2 tablespoons water and sprinkle onto the dough. Sprinkle dough with cheese and season with salt, to taste. Fold once and brush surface again with egg yolk. Cut into about 1.5 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) wide strips. Twist strips into a spiral and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown for about 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.
