Chanterelle Cheese Bread
Chanterelles are rich in the trace element iron, which is so good vegetarians because they cannot get iron from meat. The whole wheat bread also contains a lot of fiber and ensures a long-lasting feeling of satiety.

Peel garlic and press into a small pot. Add butter, heat and melt.
Rinse mushrooms. Leave whole or cut into pieces if desired. Brown in oil for about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Toast bread until golden on both sides under broiler, watching carefully. Top with one slice of cheese and melt.
Remove bread from oven and top with mushrooms. Drizzle with garlic butter and serve sprinkled with thyme.
