For the pastry: Pour flour into a bowl, make a well in the center and add eggs, powdered sugar and oil. Mix everything together and knead to a smooth dough.
On a floured work surface thinly roll out to 2-3 mm (approximately 1/8 inch) and cut with a pastry wheel in about 3 x 6 cm (approximately 1 x 2 1/4 inch) rectangles.
Heat oil in a fryer to 180°C (approximately 350°F) or a large pot (the oil is hot enough when small bubbles appear on a wooden spoon handle) and fry dough pieces until golden brown. Drain on paper towel and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
Cut remaining dough at will into small pieces and fry in hot fat. Drain on paper towel and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
