Caramelized Cinnamon Almonds
This delicious dessert is packed with protein.
This recipe works for an array of nuts, from hazelnuts to pecans and even walnuts.
Heat the sugar in a large nonstick pan with 4 tablespoons of water. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sugar is completely dissolved.
Add the almonds and caramelize, stirring constantly over medium-low heat. Pour almonds in a single layer on a piece of parchement paper (be careful, the mixture will be very hot), and let cool completely.
