500 grams sugar
3 teaspoons Vinegar
4 Apple (such as Golden Delicious)
2 tablespoons black Sesame seeds

Preparation steps

1.

Sprinkle a little sugar evenly on a flat plate. Combine sugar, 80 ml (approximately 1/3 cup) of water and vinegar. Bring to a boil and simmer until sugar thermometer reads 150°C (approximately 300°F). Peel apples and cut into quarters,core and cut into wedges.

Remove pan from the heat immediately. Dip apple wedges, one at a time, into syrup and coat completely with syrup. Place on a plate sprinkled with sugar and let cool. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
