Preparation steps

Scrub potatoes and cook in salted boiling water combined with caraway seeds for about 25-30 minutes or until tender. Drain and peel, let evaporate briefly. Slice and place in a bowl. Peel onion and chop finely, add to potatoes. Bring broth with vinegar to a boil and pour over potatoes. Season with salt and let stand for 10 minutes.

Rinse and pat dry fish. Cut into 8 equal large pieces. Beat eggs and pour into a deep dish. Put flour and breadcrumbs into two shallow dishes. Season fish with salt and pepper and coat with flour. Dip into eggs and coat with breadcrumbs. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan and cook fish for about 5-6 minutes or until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
