200 grams stale Baguette
400 milliliters milk
2 eggs
150 grams sugar
75 grams raisins
1 teaspoon real Bourbon vanilla

Preparation steps

1.

Grease the baking dish with butter.

Cut the bread into slices, place in a bowl, drizzle with milk and soak for about 15 minutes. 

3.

Beat the eggs with the sugar until light and creamy. Stir in the raisins and vanilla bourbon.

4.

Pour the custard onto the bread and mix thoroughly. Evenly distritbute the mixture into the prepared baking pan.

5.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Add the pan with the bread pudding to a roasting pan. Pour enough water into the roasting pan to submerge half of pan with the pudding. Bake for about 1 hour.
