Preparation steps

Rinse corn and shave kernels from cobs. In a blender, puree corn kernels and milk until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve into a saucepan. Add sugar, salt and butter and simmer, stirring occasionally, until light and creamy, about 15 minutes.
