Braided Challah Bread
Mix flour and salt in bowl and make a well in the center. Dissolve yeast and sugar in 5-6 tablespoons lukewarm water and add to flour. Mix eggs, honey and oil into flour and knead with food processor (or by hand) to form elastic dough. Cover dough and let rise in warm place for about 1.5 hours until volume has doubled.
Mix dough together and knead briefly then cover again and let rest at least 30 minutes. Divide dough into three portions, roll each portion into long strand on floured surface and braid together dough strands. Press together both ends of Challah braid to ensure braid keeps its shape. Place Challah braid on greased baking sheet and let rest, covered, until oven is preheated.
Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F.) Whisk egg yolks with a few drops water, brush Challah with yolk mixture and bake on middle rack of preheated oven about 40 minutes until golden brown.
