150 grams cold butter (cubed)
75 grams sugar
80 grams almonds
200 grams Pastry flour
1 pinch salt
2 packets Bourbon vanilla powder

Preparation steps

1.

Combine all ingredients except for the vanilla sugar in a large bowl and mix together with a pastry cutter or two forks. Quickly knead with hands to form a smooth dough. Shape into a roll, wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Cut the dough into 4 cm (approximately 1.5 inch) thick pieces and shape each piece into a crescent. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before sprinkling with the bourbon vanilla sugar.
