This classic margarita contains limes, which have an extremely high vitamin C content. Vitamin C is important for many different bodily functions, but especially for boosting the immune system. This may not be factually correct, but we'd like to think a margarita a day keeps the doctor away. 

For an even more refreshing variation, instead of serving on ice, you can blend it!

4 tablespoons Tequila
2 tablespoons Blue Curacao
2 tablespoons Lime juice
Ice cubes
Limes (for garnish)

Preparation steps

1.

Add the tequila, blue curacao, and lime juice to a shaker filled with a few ice cubes. Mix well with a bar spoon. 

2.

Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pass the cocktail through a strainer into the glass. Garnish the glass the slice of lime and serve.
