12 slices Bacon
4 large leaves Iceberg lettuce
2 ripe tomatoes
4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Chili sauce (finished product)
8 slices Toast (or sandwich bread)

Preparation steps

1.

Fry the bacon in a frying pan until crispy on both sides. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on paper towels. Rinse the lettuce and dry thoroughly. Cut large leaves in half if necessary.

Rinse the tomatoes, and pat dry. Remove the core and cut into slices. Lightly toast the slices of bread. Mix 3 tablespoons of the mayonnaise with the chili sauce. If too spicy, you can stir in another tablespoon of mayonnaise to lessen the spice level.

Drizzle the mayonnaise over the slices of bread. Top 4 slices of bread with lettuce, then top with the tomato slices. Place 3 slices of bacon over the tomatoes, and top with the remaining bread slices. Cut the sandwiches diagonally and serve immediately.
