Ingredients

For the strawberries

For the waffles

Preparation steps

1.
Put the strawberries in a bowl, mix with the coconut and sweeten to taste with sugar.

For the waffles, cream the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the eggs one by one, beating after each addition, to form a fluffy mixture. Mix together the flour and baking powder and stir in to create a uniform mixture.
3.
Grease the waffle iron with a little butter, add a little batter to the centre (about a small ladleful) and fry batches of golden brown waffles.
4.
Dust with icing sugar and serve with the strawberries.
