Peel the onions and cut into thin strips.

Cut beef into 3 cm (approximately 1-inch) cubes and season with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a pot. Add onions and sauté until translucent. Pour in the broth, add the meat and cook over low heat until very tender, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
