Beef Rolls with Ham and Pickle
Rinse the beef roulades, pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Spread the mustard over one side of each beef roulade. Cut the pickle into thin slices. Place pickle slices and a slice of ham over each beef roulade. Roll up the roulades from the narrow side and fix the ends with a toothpick.
Heat oil in a casserole and fry the rolls on all sides. Pour in the red wine and beef broth, cover the casserole and simmer for about 45 minutes over low heat. Remove the rolls from the sauce and keep warm. Let the sauce boil for a few minutes and let reduce.
Serve the rolls with sauce.
