Bavarian Style Cheese Dip (Obazda)

- 1 onion
- 250 grams Camembert
- 1 Tbsp butter (softened)
- 1 Tbsp Natural yogurt
- 1 Tbsp beer
- 1 tsp sweet ground paprika
- 1 generous pinch ground Caraway
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 Tbsp scallions
- ground paprika (for sprinkling)
- Pretzel (for serving)
Peel the onion and chop finely. Using a fork, mash the Camembert cheese with the butter, yogurt, beer and about 2/3 of the chopped onion. Season with the paprika, ground caraway, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Transfer to a serving bowl and top with the remaining chives and remaining onion.
Sprinkle with paprika and serve alongside freshly baked pretzels.
