Banana Split with Whipped Cream and Cherries
While ice cream may not be considered the healthiest of treats it does contain a huge source of vitamins! Vitamins A, B-6, B-12, C, D, and E are all there. Ice cream also contains vitamin K, which can help prevent blood clotting. Additionally ice cream contains Niacin, Thiamine, and Riboflavin.
Be sure to use a high-quality ice cream that contains real dairy and no fillers.
Try substituting ice cream for sorbet or frozen yogurt to keep the calorie count down.
