While ice cream may not be considered the healthiest of treats it does contain a huge source of vitamins! Vitamins A, B-6, B-12, C, D, and E are all there. Ice cream also contains vitamin K, which can help prevent blood clotting. Additionally ice cream contains Niacin, Thiamine, and Riboflavin.

 Be sure to use a high-quality ice cream that contains real dairy and no fillers. 

Try substituting ice cream for sorbet or frozen yogurt to keep the calorie count down.

Chocolate sauce
Raspberry sauce (or strawberry)
2 tablespoons puréed Pineapple (canned)
1 tablespoon chopped Walnut (or peanuts)
2 Maraschino cherry

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the banana, halve lengthwise, and place in an elongated dessert bowl.

Arrange scoops of ice cream on the top and drizzle with chocolate and raspberry or strawberry sauce.

Squirt 2 swirls of whipped cream on the top and shower with nuts and pineapple purée.

Garnish with cherries and serve immediately.
