3 ½ ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
0.333 cup dark Rum
10 Ladyfinger (sliced in half lengthwise)
2 Banana (peeled and sliced)
2 egg whites
¼ cup sugar

Preparation steps

1.
Prepare vanilla pudding according to package instructions. Chill.

Meanwhile, using a pastry brush, brush ladyfingers generously with rum. In 4 1-cup dessert glasses, layer ladyfingers, sliced bananas and pudding, repeating two times. Set aside.
3.
In a metal or glass bowl, beat egg whites on high until soft peaks form and egg whites have quadrupled in volume. Add the sugar and continue to beat until peaks are stiff.
4.
Spoon meringue atop each dessert glass. Using a kitchen torch, lightly brown the meringue.
5.
Serve immediately.
