For the crust
250 grams butter
200 grams Quark
300 grams Pastry flour
100 grams ground almonds
200 grams sugar
liter Banana nectar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons Baking powder
For the filling
12 sheets white gelatin
2 Limes
3 Banana
800 grams Quark
80 grams honey
¼ liter Banana nectar
225 milliliters Whipped cream
For the garnish
Banana chip
Chocolate chip

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

2.

For the crust: Combine all dough ingredients and put dough on a baking tray. Bake for about 30 minutes. Remove and let cool in the pan.

For the filling: Put gelatine in cold water. Rinse and dry limes. Juice lime. Peel and slice banana, add to lime juice and set aside.  

4.

Combine quark, honey and nectar. Dissolve gelatine in a saucepan over low heat and mix with 2 tablespoons of the quark mixture. Stir into remaining quark mixture. Add bananas. Whip cream until stiff and fold into the quark mixture. 

5.

Spread filling onto dough base and chill for 3 hours.

6.

Cut cake and serve garnished with banana chips and chocolate chips.
