Banana Cake with Chocolate
- For the banana cake
- 260 grams Pastry flour (1050 type)
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 100 grams Chocolate chip
- 2 eggs
- 130 grams cane sugar
- 90 milliliters Corn oil (cold pressed)
- 450 grams ripe Banana (coarsely crushed)
Preheat the oven to 160°C (approximately 350°F).
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and chocolate chips in a bowl. In another bowl mix eggs, sugar, oil and banana with an electric hand mixer until foamy. Add dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir. Place mini loaf pans on a plate and pour banana mixture into each.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Let cool. Then melt chocolate over a hot water bath and pour into a plastic bag. Cut off one corner and decorate banana cakes with chocolate blobs. Place a confectionery piece in each chocolate blob. Allow to solidify. Serve as desired.
