10 tablespoons Peach liqueur
3 teaspoons lemon juice
1 egg yolk
1 packet Vanilla sugar
12 blanched, whole almonds
2 tablespoons butter

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the peaches, blanch in boiling water and peel. Halve the peaches and remove the pits.

Finely crumble the amaretti cookies into a bowl. Add half the liqueur, the lemon juice, egg yolk and vanilla sugar to the amaretti and mix until combined. Fill the peach halves with the amaretti mixture and top each with an almond.

Place the peaches in a buttered baking dish. Dot the peaches with knobs of butter and drizzle with the remaining liqueur. Bake in a 200°C (approximately 390°F) oven until the almond mixture is golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
