1 large can Peaches (halves) 420 grams drained
300 grams store-bought Waffle cookie
4 eggs
200 milliliters milk
200 grams Whipped cream
1 packet vanilla pudding mix
2 tablespoons sugar
butter (for the baking dish)
4 tablespoons slivered almonds
powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps

Drain the peaches in a sieve and cut into slices. Halve the wafers diagonally to make triangles.

Preheat the oven to 175°C (approximately 350°F). Butter a large baking dish.

In a bowl, mix the eggs with the milk, cream, vanilla pudding powder and sugar. Layer the waffle cookies and peach slices into the baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over and bake until set and golden brown, 40-50 minutes. Cover with foil if browning too quickly. Toast the almonds in a dry skillet until golden. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with the almonds and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
