Baked Herring with Potatoes and Cheese
Peel and rinse potatoes, cut into thin slices. Rinse and pat dry fish fillets, roll up. Whisk cream with eggs, add half of cheese and crème fraîche and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Line the bottom of a buttered baking dish with potato slices, spread with fish rolls and pour egg cream over. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.
