Apricot Puff Pastry Tartlets
Thaw puff pastry and set 2 dough sheets aside, halve the rest crosswise and roll out. Cut out strips out of 2 pastry sheets.
Cut marzipan into small pieces and combine with milk, dissolve on low heat and puree. Spread 1 tablespoon of marzipan on each puff pastry pieces and then spread with apricots. Separate egg. Brush apricots with beaten egg white and pastry edges with beaten egg yolk. Arrange pastry strips on top of pastries cross-like and press down gently.
Rinse baking sheeet with cold water and arrange pastries on it. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 20 minutes. Combine jam with 1 tablespoon of water and heat. Brush pastry with the jam and sprinkle with almonds. Serve.
