300 grams Pastry flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 pinch salt
200 grams butter
1 egg
1 kilogram sour Apple
2 tablespoons Apricot jam

Preparation steps

Knead the flour, sugar, salt, butter and egg into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in plastic and chill for about 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 220°C (approximately 425°F). Rinse the apples, peel and cut into slices. Roll out the dough. Line a tart tin with the dough.

Pierce the dough several times with a fork. Arrange the apple slices on the dough and bake for about 25 minutes. Boil the apricot jam with a little water and brush over the still hot apple slices. Serve lukewarm with a little cream, if desired.
