Preparation steps

1.

Mix the flour, butter, egg and a pinch of salt into a smooth dough. Wrap in plastic and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Rinse the apples. Peel and remove the core. Roll the dough onto a floured surface and cut out four equal squares using a pastry wheel.

3.

Place the apples in the center of the dough squares. Pour the jam in the center and fold the dough over the apples. Squeeze the edges.

4.

Grease the baking sheet with oil and place the covered apples on top. Bake for about 30 minutes at 175°C (approximately 350°F), until golden brown. Serve warm.
