Apple Marzipan Crumble
Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Rinse the apples, peel, cut into wedges, remove the cores, then slice thinly. Toss the apple slices with the lemon juice. Crumble the marzipan and toss with the lemon and orange zest.
Grease a baking dish (or 8 small ramekins) with butter and arrange the apple slices in it. Distribute the crumbled marzipan over the apples and sprinkle with the sliced almonds. Bake for 30 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
