3 kilograms ripe Apple (for 1.5 L juice)
1 ½ kilograms jam sugar (1:1 ratio)
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 Cinnamon stick
2 Star anise
3 cloves

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the apples, quarter and remove the core. Process through a juicer, reserving the juice in a bowl.

2.

Boil the juice with the preserving sugar and spices in a saucepan over high heat while stirring and cook for about 4 minutes bubbly. Stir the lemon juice, remove the pan from the heat. Remove the spices.

3.

Fill the jelly into prepared jars that have been rinsed in hot water. Seal tightly and turn upside down to cool for 10 minutes. Turn right side up, and cool completely.
