Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and quarter the apples. Remove the seeds, and process the apples through a juicer. Measure 500 ml (approximately 17 ounces) of the juice. Remove the stones from the cherries, and process through the juicer aslo. Measure 250 ml (approximately 8 ounces) of the cherry juice. Add the cherry juice, apple juice, and rose syrup to a saucepan, and heat to 50°C (approximately 125°F). Add the sugar and pecting, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 4 minutes until the jelly begins to thicken. Skim any foam that rises to the surface. Fill the clean, prepared jars to the brim with the jelly. Seal tightly, turn upside down, and cool completely.
