- 200 grams sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 250 grams butter (at room temperature)
- 1 packet Bourbon vanilla powder
- 6 eggs
- 175 milliliters milk
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 6 Apple
- 200 grams slivered almonds
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 160 ° C convection preheat.

Beat butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and salt and beat with an electric mixer for about 2 minutes or until fluffy. Combine flour with baking powder. Add to butter and eggs mixture. Gradually add milk and whisk until smooth and creamy batter forms.

Peel apples, halve and core, cut into thin slices. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spread batter evenly. Press apple slices into batter and sprinkle with flaked almonds.

Bake in preheated oven at 160°C (approximately 325°F) for about 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into small rectangles. Serve.
