250 grams Pastry flour
50 grams ground almonds
2 teaspoons Baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
100 grams sugar
1 tablespoon Amaretto
1 packet Vanilla sugar
75 milliliters vegetable oil
300 grams Sour cream
For baking and garnishing
1 Muffin tin (12 cups)
butter (for muffin tin)
slivered almonds
powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps

1.

Combine the flour, almonds, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl.

In another bowl, beat the eggs. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, Amaretto, oil and sour cream and mix well. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir until the dry ingredients are moist.

Grease the muffin tin with butter.

Fill in the muffin tin with batter. Top each wth 3 flaked almonds. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 25-30 minutes. Remove, let cool for a few minutes in the tin, then cool completely on a wire rack. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
