2 ½ teaspoons Baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
100 grams sugar
80 milliliters vegetable oil
150 milliliters Orange juice
150 grams Whipped cream

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 160°C (approximately 320°F). Grease and chill the cupcake tin.

Grate the peel of the orange, then peel the orange and cut the slices into small pieces. Mix together the flour, orange zest, the nuts, baking powder and baking soda. Whisk the egg and mix with sugar, oil, orange juice, sour cream and orange pieces. Gradually stir in the flour mixture.

Fill the cupcake tin wells with the batter and bake for about 15 minutes on the middle rack. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then remove the cupcakes from the tin.

Whisk the egg whites until stiff, then sprinkle in powdered sugar and beat again until stiff and mix in the orange juice. Fill a pastry bag with the egg white mixture and decorate the cooled cupcakes. Make a flower design and sprinkle with chocolate chips if desired. Allow to dry and serve.
