Preparation steps

For the cones: Heat cream and sugar in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Stir in almonds. From cardboard, cut a ring of 12 cm (approximately 4 3/4 inches) diameter. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, position the cardboard template and spread the almond paste in the center. Repeat with the remaining almond paste.

Bake the almond circles in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. While they are still hot, roll into cones using a metal pastry tip and let cool completely.

For the cream filling: Whip the cream with the sugar until stiff, spoon into a pastry bag with a large star tip and pipe the cream into the almond cones.
