Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).
Separate eggs. Beat egg whites in a large bowl until stiff, gradually add half the powdered sugar. Beat until glossy. Combine yolks with remaining powdered sugar and vanilla seeds. Stir in 3 tablespoons of whites. Add remaining meringue, flour and cornstarch. Pour into a greased oval baking dish or 4 serving ramekins. Sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
