2 cups white Bread flour
1.333 cups whole-wheat bread flour
2 cups medium Oatmeal
2 Tbsps butter
2 tsps easy bake Yeast
3 Tbsps runny honey
cup natural Yogurt
0.333 cup raisins (optional)

Preparation steps

1.
Put the white and wholemeal flours into a bowl. Add the oatmeal, 2tsp salt and butter.

Sprinkle over the yeast, then pour in the honey, yogurt and 300 ml of warm water.
3.
Mix together with your hands until the mixture forms a rough ball.
4.
Tip the dough onto a lightly floured surface and stretch and knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic and knead in the raisins, if using.
5.
Shape the dough into an oblong and put into a greased 900 g | 2 lb tin.

Cover loosely with clear wrap and leave in a warm place until doubled in size. This will take about 30-40 minutes.
7.
Heat the oven to 220°C (200° fan) 425F gas 7.
8.
Remove clear wrap from the bread, and reduce the oven temperature to 200°C (180° fan) 400F gas 6.
9.
Bake the bread for 35 minutes until golden. To test to see if the loaf is ready, tip out of the tin, knock base, it should sound hollow.
